Hello!
I’m Kiki – an artist based in the beautiful Afan Valley in South Wales, where I create hand-drawn ink and watercolour illustrations of homes, shops, and iconic venues. My work is all about capturing the places that hold meaning: the buildings where life happened, love grew, and memories settled in.
Originally I trained as a stage manager and prop maker at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. That led to a sixteen-year adventure in theatre, working on everything from Shakespeare to circus to pantomime. It was creative, chaotic, and full of magic – but it also meant living out of a suitcase more often than not.

Eventually, life nudged me in a new direction. I met my dream Welshman and, together with our dog, we settled in the lovely community in the Afan Valley. I stepped away from theatre, but I couldn’t step away from creativity!
It started simply: I drew a house portrait as a gift. Then another. And another. Word spread, commissions trickled in, and before I knew it I’d found a new way to tell stories – not on a stage, but on paper.
Today I’m lucky enough to create one-of-a-kind illustrations for people who want to celebrate the places that matter most.
If you’d like to chat about a piece of your own, you can explore the commissions page, or get in touch if you have any questions.
